I became the Director of Parking and Transportation Services for The University of West Florida on December 13, 2004 and I am not sure I’ve smiled once since.  That is not true, that's just a little levity.  The truth is I smile almost every other day despite the spirit crushing challenges Parking often creates.  Parking is a hard job but it can also be fun if you go into it with the right attitude.  I try my best to have that attitude.  Universities face special challenges when it comes to parking given the different needs of faculty, students and visitors.  FPTA is a great information resource and I am proud to be a member.  If elected to serve on the Board I’ll do my best to do a good job.  And odds are I’ll smile once in a while, maybe.  If I'm in a good mood and the wind is at my back.
