Joshua Alves is the Assistant Division Manager for the City of Orlando’s Parking Division, overseeing the city's parking system, which covers 12,000 spaces, including twelve facilities within the Parking District and supported by a team of more than 115 employees. A graduate of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Josh began his career in transportation management within the aviation industry, where he was responsible for terminal, airline, and parking operations. After eight years in airport management, he transitioned to municipal parking with the City of Orlando, managing off-street facilities and event parking operations associated with Downtown Orlando’s major sports and entertainment venues. With 17 years of experience in municipal parking and transportation management, Josh brings a wealth of expertise in parking systems and operations across different industries. Beyond his professional work, he is a dedicated husband and father, raising two wonderful children with his wife.
