2026 FPTA Committee Opportunities
The Association Committees have an active role in the continued success of FPTA, and all members are encouraged to get involved and make a difference. After all, this is YOUR Association! We need your input.

APPOINTED COMMITTEES:
EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE
Chair: Matthew Valera
The committee is made up of the President, President Elect, Treasurer, Secretary and Immediate Past President.
FINANCE COMMITEE
Chair: Eli Stephan
Oversees the associations’ budgeting and financial planning. The committee prepares and distributes timely and accurate financial reporting to the board and an annual report to membership.
VOLUNTEER COMMITTEES
AWARDS COMMITTEE – Chair: Tracie Saunders
Oversees the receipt and scoring of all Awards of Excellence submissions and presents each submission and the winners at the Annual Conference. Works with the Marketing Committee for nominations. Strives to assure that front-line employees from each organization are recognized for their hard work by recruiting for nominations of the Carol Easterling Awards, selecting and recognizing exemplary front line employees.
CONFERENCE PLANNING COMMITTEE – Chair: Bill Geraghty
Assists with the planning of the social activities, agenda, keynote speakers and outreach for the annual conference.
Conference Sub-Committee Golf – Co-Chair: Co-Chair:
EDUCATION COMMITTEE – Co-Chair: Co-Chair:
Recruits speakers and presentations, review and plans all aspects of the educational content for the conference and mid-year events.
MARKETING COMMITTEE – Chair:
Develop and upkeep social media postings, association updates for website-publications, and general public relations for the association.
MEMBERSHIP COMMITTEE – Co-Chair: Brooke Krieger Co-Chair: Melissa Schechter
Recruit new members including developing strategies/resources to encourage/enhance FPTA membership.
Sponsorship Sub-Committee - Chair: Adrian Mandreanu
Promotes the sponsorship opportunities of the association for both the conference and mid-year events.
NOMINATIONS COMMITTEE – Chair: Bill Geraghty
Recruitment, development, and implementation of Annual Call of Nominations for the FPTA Board members.
RULES COMMITTEE – Chair: Tracie Saunders
Continuously reviews the FPTA By-Laws for updating, development and implementation of changes.
